GAME DESIGN 1A This course is an introduction to the theory, concepts, terminology, fundamental techniques, and practice of the process of designing games and playful experiences. Students are familiarized with methods, concepts, techniques, and literature used in the design of games Unreal Engine Platforms. This class will teach students how to write a program for a game’s algorithms and functions in blueprint systematic coding. This class included formal elements of games, mechanics and dynamics, decision making, artificial intelligence, storytelling, level design with the landscape of mapping plus flow states and player psychology. The strategy is process-oriented, focusing on aspects such as Prototyping, character modeling, play testing, design iteration using a player-centered approach, and customizing the level complexity of the game in First person and Third person templates.
